Delicious steamed borscht in a wok pan

Borscht in a frying pan? Very tasty and fragrant if it's a wok frying pan! I tried to cook a wok in a frying pan recently... borsch. It turned out to be amazingly delicious and fragrant. Everyone's family also liked it. Sharing a recipe!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 h 30 min

Start cooking by preparing all the ingredients:

- wash the meat, if necessary, clean the veins, cut into medium pieces;
- boil the beetroot;
- wash the vegetables, peel, grate the carrots and beets on a medium grater, cut the rest of the vegetables into small pieces;
- wash and chop the herbs, garlic, onion;
- prepare the spices.

Next comes cooking directly on fire:

- heat the frying pan and put the meat on it, without stirring, cover with a lid for a couple of minutes;
- during this time, the meat will release the juice and now it's time to mix it, cook under the lid for a couple more minutes;
- meanwhile, the meat will be browned - put sliced potatoes, tomatoes and peppers, grated carrots on top;
- add 100 ml of water and cook until a water ring forms under the lid;
- after reduce the heat to a minimum and after a vacuum is formed under the lid, simmer for 35 minutes;
- then add the grated beetroot, lemon juice and cook under the lid for another 5-10 minutes;
- add chopped herbs, onion and garlic, spices, bay leaf and salt;
- pour in the pre-prepared boiling water, cover with a lid and cook for another 15 minutes;
- then turn off the heat and let the dish brew for another 20 minutes.

Borscht is ready! All the most delicious!
