Prepare the ingredients: white cabbage, canned saury, green peas, onions, sugar, salt, ground black pepper. The ingredients are simple, affordable and not expensive. White cabbage is cut into thin strips or shredded. We put the cabbage in a deep bowl, add a pinch of sugar and salt, crumple it with clean hands so that the cabbage becomes soft and lets the juice flow. Green peas can be used canned or fresh, frozen. In the second case, it is better to heat-treat the peas with spices so that it tastes more tender and soft. Put the green peas in a fireproof dish, add sugar, salt by a pinch, pour clean water and put in the microwave for 5 minutes at maximum power. Drain the water, put the green peas in a bowl with chopped cabbage. Onions are cleaned and finely chopped with a knife, sent to a bowl with the rest of the ingredients. If desired, you can also use green onions, it will give the dish freshness and brightness. We open a jar with canned saury, drain the liquid from the jar, knead the pieces of fish a little with a fork. We put the fish in a bowl with cabbage. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste, season with vegetable oil. If the canned saury was in oil, then the liquid can be added from the jar, but not much. Mix the ingredients, the salad is ready. Sprinkle it with chopped fresh herbs and serve it to the table.
This salad is not only suitable for the case when you need to quickly cook something "in a hurry" for dinner for two or for the arrival of guests. The salad turns out to be quite satisfying, but at the same time easy to use. Also, the composition of this dish allows you to call it useful. Canned saury contains many vitamins of group A, B, D, easily digestible proteins, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, which contribute to the prevention of arthrosis, caries, osteoporosis, have a beneficial effect on the work of the heart and brain, are necessary for diabetes and thyroid diseases. Cabbage is a source of minerals and vitamins, mainly potassium, calcium, phosphorus and sulfur, vitamins B, C, P, which are necessary for the body. Cabbage stimulates metabolic processes, has an anti-inflammatory effect, anti-sclerotic effect, strengthens the walls of blood vessels.
