Broth on honey

A truly winter drink will warm you up on Epiphany evenings! Brew is an old Russian dish that is prepared for Christmas and Christmas Eve. A broth is prepared on honey, on a decoction of dried fruits. From compote, the brew differs in a more concentrated and sweeter taste. Sometimes the broth is brewed with the addition of wine, rice.

Rinse the dried apricots, pour it with water (to cover), add honey and cook on a slow fire. The water will evaporate.

At the end of cooking, fill the broth with vanilla (you can use saffron).

As I said, compared to compote, this broth will be thicker (to taste) and sweet.
