Mango Trifles

Trifle is an English layered dessert made from yesterday's sponge cake. This year I discovered the taste of ripe juicy mango. Last year I bought a couple of times, but the fruits were green, but they cost a lot. Over time, I learned how to choose ripe fruits and found shops where they can be purchased almost for free. Therefore, I decided to make dessert with mango. Mango can be replaced with any other fruits and berries: orange pulp, strawberries, blueberries, pears (soft varieties), grapes, etc .

    Biscuit trimmings or cake leftovers are suitable for trifle. I have 2 store-bought cakes left after the pie, and I used one of them in this dessert. To do this, I left it on the table in the evening so that it dried up a little overnight.

    Peel the mango, remove the stone. Cut the pulp into small pieces.

    Cut the sponge cake into small pieces.

    Beat cold cream with sugar and vanilla into a strong, stable foam.

    Put pieces of sponge cake on the bottom of cremans or glasses, pour liqueur on top (I have egg liqueur according to the recipe: https://1000.menu/cooking/29618-yaichnyi-liker ) or cognac. Put a little yogurt on the sponge cake. Spread some of the mango slices on top. Put a little whipped cream on the mango. Repeat the layers again. Put the finished dessert in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. Before serving, decorate the dessert with mango slices, sponge cake slices and mint.

If you have a piece of cake or cake trimmings left and you don't know where to put it - prepare a trifle.

I made dessert in large glasses, so I only got 3 servings. But if you use smaller cups, then the ingredients are quite enough for 5-6 servings.
