    Pumpkin puree, sugar, egg yolks and starch mix thoroughly, preferably using a blender.

    Add the whites and beat until fluffy.

    Separate a small piece from the dough for decoration. The shape is 20 cm in diameter . Roll out a layer 2-3 mm thick, 30 cm in diameter. It is better to roll out on baking paper or food wrap, if necessary, dust the dough with a little flour.

    Put in a paper-lined form, form sides 4-5 cm. Prick well with a fork and bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 5 minutes.

    The filling will rise, but it will level off when it cools down. 10 minutes before the cake is ready, put the decorations from the remnants of the dough on the cake. Let the cake cool completely in the mold.
