Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 50 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

To cook raspberries without cooking for the winter, you will need raspberries and sugar.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Pre-sort raspberries from twigs and leaves that may accidentally fall during harvesting. If necessary, the berries can be washed. To do this, it is recommended to lower the berries into cold water with the addition of salt (1 tbsp.l. per liter of water) for 10 minutes. Then drain the water, rinse the berries and dry them well. I didn't wash raspberries, I just had too much. Grind the berries in a blender in parts. You can also use an ordinary pusher, since raspberries are quite tender.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Pour the resulting berry puree into a clean bowl suitable in size. Add sugar.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

    Mix everything well.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Leave the berry mass on the table until the sugar is completely dissolved. To speed up the process, you can periodically mix the berry.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

The jars in which raspberries with sugar will be stored, as well as the lids, should be washed and sterilized. This is necessary for the best preservation of fresh berries. I sterilize with steam using a sterilizer nozzle (instead of it, you can use a sieve, a grate or a colander, on which to install cans over a pot of boiling water). 0.5- 0.75 cans are sterilized for 10 minutes; liter cans - 15 minutes; two-liter cans - 20. The lids boil in water for 10-15 minutes

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Sterilized jars and lids must be dried on a clean towel, filled with berry mass and closed with lids. Store the workpiece in the refrigerator.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

In winter, you can enjoy a fragrant sweet dessert. Bon appetit!

Raspberries with sugar without cooking should be cooked on the same day when the berry was picked, because raspberries quickly deteriorate during storage.
Raspberries contain a large amount of vitamin C, which helps strengthen the immune system. It has an anti-inflammatory, bactericidal effect, as well as antipyretic.
In winter, with an exacerbation of colds, this dessert will be an additional medicine. Of course, raspberries alone will not cure a serious flu, but it will help the body cope with viral infections.
Fresh raspberries with sugar are also useful for prevention during the off-season and vitamin deficiency. This will help overcome chronic fatigue and melancholy.
An important point. It is necessary to store the workpiece in the refrigerator or in a cold cellar. So the berry will stand for several months.
If there is no confidence in the optimality of the storage temperature, you can increase the amount of sugar. For example, take the proportions of berries and sweet preservative not 1:1, but 1:1,2 or 1:1,5. We have raspberries stored in the cellar, so I boldly make the proportion 1:1. The preparation is perfectly preserved until the end of the year. Raspberries are loved by everyone, so they are not enough for longer)).
Such jam without cooking can be used as a filling for sweet pies, for making desserts, compotes, jelly. Serve with pancakes, cheesecakes, sweet casseroles.
Raspberries can increase blood pressure. Therefore, the main thing, as always, is a measure in use.
Remember that this is only dessert, not the main dish on the menu)).
