Salad with tomatoes and sausage

Fast, simple, from ordinary products, in a hurry! Salad with tomatoes and sausage is a simple dish, but very tasty! The juiciness of fresh tomatoes is harmoniously complemented by the satiety of the sausage. A piquant note to the salad is set by adding a small amount of garlic.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 15 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a salad with tomatoes and sausage? Prepare the products. You can use any sausage — boiled, smoked, ham. Cut it into thin strips. You can cut it in any way, but the straw, in my opinion, looks more appetizing in this salad. Place the sliced sausage in a salad bowl.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash tomatoes and cut into large pieces. You can also use cherry tomatoes. It will be enough to cut them into 2-4 parts. Add the chopped tomatoes to the sausage bowl.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and immediately put it in a salad. For salad, I like to use hard cheeses. They rub easily on a grater.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Peel the garlic and pass it through a garlic press. Add it directly to the salad.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Fill all the ingredients with a small amount of mayonnaise and mix. I do not recommend adding a lot of mayonnaise, so the juice will be released from the tomatoes and the salad will become liquid. Transfer the finished salad to a salad bowl and serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!

For this salad, I like to use ham sausage. It is dense in consistency and does not have a pronounced taste, which means it will not stand out from the overall taste of the salad.
For more satiety, you can add a couple of boiled eggs to the salad. Also, their addition will have a positive effect on the consistency of the salad - they will absorb some of the moisture that appears from tomatoes.
The taste of the salad can be varied by adding bell pepper, corn, Peking cabbage. In general, salads are a lot of imagination. Any combination of ingredients will allow you to get new tastes.
This salad can be prepared as an independent snack for any feast.
Cook with pleasure! Very tasty!

Choose juicy tomatoes, but dense. Soft fruits do not keep their shape well, in the process of slicing and cooking they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

The salad will look nice and neat if you cut all the ingredients into pieces of the same size and shape (for example, cubes).

It is better to prepare mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier. See here interesting recipes for homemade mayonnaise.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste - this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.
