In order to cook boiled bacon, a simple cooking recipe will help you.
Take pieces of bacon with a skin (if they have a layer of meat on them, it will be even better) and put them in an enameled pan so that they occupy about half of the volume of the pan. Sprinkle these pieces liberally with salt, put something heavy on top and leave for a day. The next day, fill the fat with water. Add pepper and bay leaf (if you have dried herbs, add it, it will only taste better), as well as washed onion husks. Bring the water with lard to a boil and boil it for about an hour. If done correctly, the solution will be very salty. Let the fat freeze in the same solution, after which it should be removed and stuffed with thin slices of garlic. It will be most convenient to store it if you roll it into rolls and tie it with a thread, although you can simply fold two pieces of skin outwards. Wrap the lard in parchment or foil and transfer to the freezer.
Bread with such lard and garlic is just a wonderful food, which may not be very refined, but it is certainly incredibly delicious.
