    How to cook beets quickly? Prepare small-sized root vegetables. Whatever one may say, but five small beets will be ready faster than one huge beet of the "Gigantella" variety. So it is better to leave large vegetables in the store. Wash the beets thoroughly under running water. The tips on both sides are not cut off yet. Prepare a baking sleeve and a pair of special clamps, if they are included.

    Use a knife to prick the beets around the perimeter in several places. This is necessary to speed up its preparation.

    Pack the beets in a bag and tighten the ends on both sides with clamps. If they are not included, just tie the knots tighter. In the upper part of the package, make several through holes without touching the lower part of the package. If this is not done, the package may subsequently burst with a deafening pop from a large amount of steam inside.

    Put the bag directly on the glass tray of the microwave and cook for two minutes at 800 watts.

    Then take a break in cooking for about a minute to allow the oven to cool down a little. Then turn the oven back on for two minutes. And again take a break for a few minutes.

    To understand whether the beetroot is ready or not, you can pierce it with a knife. The finished vegetable should slide off easily. I cooked mine for about 8 minutes, but the cooking time can vary greatly depending on the size and number of root vegetables.

    When the beetroot is ready, transfer it to the grill and cut the package with a knife. Carefully: the package is full of hot steam, do not burn your hands. Cool the beetroot completely, after which it is ready for cleaning and further work.

Beetroot cooked in this way is completely indistinguishable from boiled in water. The same taste, the same structure. You can serve it just as a side dish, and make a salad with it.
