Sour cream dessert

Incredibly delicious dessert of sour cream and compote! I found the culinary recipe for this dish when I was going to cook something new, sweet and unusual. I won't say that I haven't cooked similar desserts, but I've never used canned cherries in them. Please note that it is better to take canned cherries purchased, because homemade compote has a completely different taste and is absolutely not suitable for such a dessert. The recipe specifies "compote", but it is better to take juice, but with berries.

Soak gelatin in cherry juice. When it becomes soft, cut it into pieces. We put the cherry juice on the stove, almost bring it to a boil and add pieces of gelatin, stirring constantly. We wait until all the gelatin is completely dissolved. Beat the sour cream with a mixer at high speed. We need it to become lush and airy, having almost doubled in size. In the process of whipping, pour sugar into the sour cream (it is better to take powdered sugar – it will dissolve faster). Pour warm cherry juice into sour cream, stir well. At the bottom of beautiful glasses, we spread 3-4 teaspoons of pitted cherries and pour the resulting cream. We put the glasses in the refrigerator so that the sour cream dessert freezes properly.
