Kalganovka (or kelganovka) is prepared on the basis of not only dry, but also fresh roots of such a perennial herbaceous plant as lapchatka erect. She's a kalgan.
Kalgan is widely distributed in Russia.
Therefore, if you want to get a fresh root of this plant, be extremely careful and careful, because kalgan looks very much like a buttercup. And the buttercup, in turn, is extremely poisonous!
The main difference between these plants is that the kalgan has four petals, and the buttercup has five.
Plus kalgan leaves look like hemp leaves. But even knowing these distinctive features, you can easily make a mistake with the choice.
Therefore, I prefer not to take risks, and just buy a kalgan at the nearest pharmacy.
Store the kalganovka in the refrigerator or other cool dark place.
And remember: excessive alcohol consumption has a negative effect on health. Everything should be in moderation. Have a pleasant tasting!
