For a salad of Chinese cabbage and cucumber, very few products are needed. In addition to bright colors, a special slicing will serve as a decoration of the finished dish. If there is a spiralizer in the house, we will use it for slicing cucumbers. In this case, the whole cucumber will be cut into very thin strips, which will be distributed like threads throughout the salad. To achieve thin slicing, if there is no spiralizer, you can also use a conventional vegetable peeler. In this case, cut the cucumber into thin plates (2-3 mm), and then cut these plates into thin strips.

When there is no special equipment in the house, do not despair and do not give up a great recipe! Just cut the cucumber into thin strips with a regular knife. In any case, the skin is not cleaned off, as it gives the salad a bright green color.

Finely chop the cabbage. If there is a special shredding, we use it. When slicing with a knife, we try to make the stripes as small as possible - then the salad will be tender and beautiful. Fresh cilantro is washed under running water, dried and finely chopped.

In a deep bowl, combine cabbage, cucumber, cilantro, add peeled roasted peanuts. If the nuts were sold in the husk, it is necessary to wipe them with palms or a towel to peel off the skin. In the finished dish, it may be a little bitter.

We prepare salad dressing in a separate cup. To do this, mix vegetable oil, lime juice (can be replaced with lemon), salt, sugar, garlic powder (can be replaced with garlic passed through the press) and chili pepper flakes. Combine everything to a homogeneous mass with a fork and pour the vegetable mixture. Mix and serve immediately to the table.
