Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 3 h 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a New Year's dessert without baking fast and delicious? Very simple! First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. It is very important to choose the right boiled condensed milk. Now they sell everything. A good condensed milk should have a fat content of 8.5%, thick. Shake the jar before buying - condensed milk should not roll in it. If you hear a splash, then the condensed milk is of poor quality. I cooked my condensed milk on my own* (see under the recipe).

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Put the cornflakes in a bowl. If the flakes are large, remember them with your hands. Corn flakes can be glazed and unglazed, thin and tougher. Take the flakes to your liking, but keep in mind that the calorie content of the dish with glazed flakes will be higher, and the taste of the dessert in combination with condensed milk may turn out to be more cloying.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Finely chop walnuts with a knife or chop them in a blender. Instead of walnuts, you can use any other to taste: hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, pecans, etc. A very interesting combination is obtained from boiled condensed milk with salted fried peanuts.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

In a bowl, combine the cornflakes and chopped nuts. Mix it up.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

    Add boiled condensed milk.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Mix the mass thoroughly. Condensed milk should be evenly distributed over all flakes and nuts.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

With wet hands, form cone-shaped cones from the mass. You can form cones in cone-shaped glasses that are suitable in shape: just fill them with dessert mass and tamp them well. I didn't have such glasses, so I had to sculpt with my hands. It turned out 8 cakes. Put the resulting cones in the refrigerator for 3 hours. After the specified time, if the dessert was formed with the help of glasses, remove the cones on the dish.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Lightly sprinkle the finished cones with powdered sugar and serve to the table. Bon appetit!

Choose high-quality, proven condensed milk. Without vegetable fats and food additives. The composition should contain only two ingredients: milk and sugar. As a result, the taste and quality of the finished dish will depend on the quality of condensed milk.

*How to cook condensed milk at home? Put the jar in a deep saucepan, fill with water so that the water rises 2-3 cm above the jar. Put on medium heat and bring to a boil. Cook for 2-2.5 hours. Just make sure that the water level does not drop and does not expose the jar, because it can simply explode from overheating. Therefore, add so much boiling water in time so that the jar is always completely under water.
