Brisket in a sleeve baked in the oven

Delicious meat snack for any festive table! The brisket in the sleeve baked in the oven is so delicious that it is eaten almost all while still hot. But I still recommend cooking it in advance and saving it for festive snacks.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 3 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to bake a brisket in a sleeve in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Choose thicker pieces of brisket with meat layers. The more meat there is, the tastier it turns out. Even a small amount of fat in the brisket will give juiciness.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Combine soy sauce, mustard and vegetable oil in a large bowl. Peel the garlic from the husk and pass it through the press immediately into the bowl. Add salt and spices to taste. When adding salt, keep in mind that soy sauce is already salty. As a spice, I take ground pepper, a little paprika and dried basil. But you can slightly change the composition of the spice to your liking. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade well together.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Roll the brisket completely in the resulting marinade so that it is covered with it evenly from all sides. Leave to stand for at least 30 minutes. If you have time, you can leave it for a couple of hours.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

For baking, place the brisket together with the marinade in the baking sleeve and tie it on both sides. Place the brisket on a metal baking sheet and put it in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 1.5 hours.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

20 minutes before the end, cut the sleeve from the top and open the brisket so that it browns a little in the oven.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Remove the finished brisket from the oven, put it on a plate and put it in the refrigerator to cool down. In the refrigerator, the brisket will harden and be easily cut. This meat slicing is great for sandwiches instead of sausage. Have a nice treat!

Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
