  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a Margarita Cocktail? Prepare the necessary ingredients. We will need tequila, and it does not matter what brand it will be. Orange liqueur is preferable to Cointreau - the classic version of this liqueur. Of course, if necessary, you can replace it with some other orange liqueur, but it will not be quite a Margarita. We will need only juice from lime, so it is quite possible to use ready-made lime juice in factory packaging.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Prepare a glass, wash it well, dry it. Wet the edges of the glass and dip in salt so that a strip of salt remains along the edge of the rim.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Put some ice in the blender bowl. Its quantity is to your taste. If you want to preserve the strength of the drink, then there is no need to dilute it with water, even in the form of ice.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour tequila into the same bowl.

    Then orange liqueur.

And lime juice. If you squeeze the juice directly from the lime, pre-wash it in very hot water or even scald it with boiling water - so the lime will give much more juice. And do not forget to use a sieve - squeeze the juice through it so that the bones do not get into the drink.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

    Punch everything with a blender.

Women are served a cocktail with a straw. The calorie content of one serving is 280 calories. Fortress – 24-25%.

Historians agree on one thing – the cocktail is named after a woman named Margarita. But who she was: a local celebrity or the favorite woman of the author of the drink, remained unknown.

The International Bartenders Association (IBA) suggests mixing ingredients in a ratio of 7:4:3 (seven parts tequila, four orange liqueur and three parts lime juice).

There are other proportions for mixing:

In a ratio of 2:3:1 (liqueur — 33%, tequila — 50%, juice - 17%)

In a ratio of 1:3:1 (liqueur - 20%, tequila - 60%, juice — 20%)

In a ratio of 1:1:1 (liqueur — 33%, tequila — 33%, juice — 33%)

But historically the proportion is considered correct 2:1:2.

" Margarita" is drunk in small sips, after holding the drink in your mouth for a couple of seconds, so that it remains long aftertaste. .
