Strawberry marmalade

Strawberry treat for a sweet tooth. Try to cook! Well, the strawberry season has come! What we just didn't do: jam, jam, pies, various desserts, and fruit drinks. We especially liked strawberry marmalade - it's something! Even if the strawberry season has not yet begun or has already passed, it does not matter - marmalade can be prepared from frozen berries, after completely defrosting them.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 3 h

Put gelatin in a bowl, add cold water, leave to swell for half an hour.

We sort through the berries, removing all the spoiled and unripe ones, wash them, let them dry a little. Next, put the strawberries in a blender bowl, pour powdered sugar and citric acid, grind the berries until smooth.

We heat the swollen gelatin on fire or in the microwave so that all the crystals dissolve, and pour it into the strawberry mass, mix everything again and pour it into molds (I have silicone, very convenient). We send it to the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to cool down.

Frozen marmalade is extracted from the molds, rolled in sugar and treated!
