Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a Bride salad with smoked chicken and processed cheese? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Smoked chicken meat is suitable from any part of the carcass. I used chicken thighs. It is better to boil eggs and potatoes in advance, so as not to wait for them to cool down later. Take thick sour cream, with a high percentage of fat content, so that it does not spread. Put the cheese in the freezer about half an hour before cooking to make it easier to work with it.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Pickle the onion. To do this, mix room temperature water with vinegar and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Peel, rinse and slice the onion very thinly. To avoid irritating the mucous membrane of the eyes when slicing onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. Put the chopped onion in a bowl with the marinade, mix and leave for 10-15 minutes. Then squeeze and transfer to a sieve to drain the excess liquid.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Since the salad is layered, it can be laid out in layers in a large salad bowl or in portions. Two portions are obtained from the specified number of products. I laid out the salad with the help of a cooking ring, but you can also carefully lay out the ingredients with a slide. Lubricate the bottom with a thin layer of sour cream. This is necessary in order to fasten the bottom layer and it will not crumble when it is eaten.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Cut the chicken finely with a knife, put it on top of the sour cream. Level each layer, but do not tamp it down so that the salad looks neat and airy.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Next, smear the chicken with sour cream a little and lay out a layer of onions.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Boil potatoes in a uniform. To do this, pour the washed tubers with cold water and cook for 20-25 minutes after boiling over medium heat. Cool completely, grate on a coarse grater and place on top of the onion. Add salt to the potatoes and a little smear with sour cream.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Wash the eggs with soap and cook them cool. To do this, pour them with cold water and cook for 18 minutes after boiling over medium heat. To clean the boiled eggs well, fill them with cold water. Cool completely, peel and separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the yolks on a coarse grater, lay out the next layer, add salt and smear with sour cream.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Rub the melted cheese and put it in the next layer, smear with sour cream.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Finish the salad with a layer of grated proteins on a coarse grater and level the surface so that the salad looks neat.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Carefully remove the cooking ring. Before serving, decorate the salad according to your taste. I made flowers out of egg and parsley.

The salad is interesting and delicious! To my taste, all the ingredients in it are in their place - I don't want to reduce or add anything.

Smoked chicken can be replaced with boiled and a slightly different, but no less delicious and more healthy salad will turn out.

Instead of sugar, you can use a sweetener.

The salad will look nice and neat if you cut all the ingredients into pieces of the same size and shape (for example, cubes).
