There are many recipes for chicken salads with pineapples, but it is when using smoked meat and canned fruits that it is possible to achieve such a balanced, delicate and at the same time piquant taste. You can take any part of the smoked chicken, but the breast is best suited. It is fleshy, without peel, easily sliced and looks beautiful in the finished version of the dish.

It is better to cook eggs for salad in advance. If they are already cold by the beginning of slicing the chicken, this will significantly reduce the total time spent on preparing the salad.

Traditionally, in puff salads, each layer is sprinkled with a small amount of salt. This is not necessary here, the chicken is already completely ready, and does not require additional spices, and there is enough salt in the mayonnaise to season the rest of the ingredients.

Cut the chicken into a small cube and spread it evenly on the bottom of a wide dish, in which we will serve the finished salad to the table. Peel the onion, wash it and finely chop it. You can use a cube or a thin straw, if desired. Spread the onion on top of the chicken and lubricate with a small amount of mayonnaise.

Hard-boiled eggs are cleaned and chopped into small cubes. We spread the eggs on top of the chicken, evenly distribute so that there are no empty seats or slides. Cover with a small layer of mayonnaise.

Hard cheese of any kind is rubbed on a coarse grater and evenly sprinkle the previous layer. Lubricate with mayonnaise and proceed to the final step.

Canned pineapple cut into cubes. If the pineapple is selected not with washers, but with cubes, we discard the required amount on a sieve, and leave it to drain for a few minutes. Evenly distribute the pineapple slices over the surface of the salad and you can serve it to the table.

It is better not to wait, but to treat guests immediately after cooking. Divided vertically, it looks great with clearly defined layers, and all the ingredients are perfectly combined with each other.

Bon appetit!
