Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a salad with green onions, crackers, ham and beans? We prepare the ingredients. Beans can be used canned or boiled dry, white or red. With canned food, the cooking process will turn out faster, and to taste, who likes what kind of beans. Crackers can also be purchased ready-made in the store or cooked at home from a couple of slices of white wheat bread.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

If we use dry beans, then we need to soak it overnight so that it swells well. In the morning, rinse thoroughly with running water and boil in water for 40 minutes. We add the beans at the end of cooking so that it does not boil, for a salad it needs a whole one. When the beans are cooked, drain the water and let it cool. With canned only drain the water.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan. In a bowl with a fork, beat the egg with a pinch of salt. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and fry the egg pancake.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Wheat bread is cut into small cubes and dried on a dry baking sheet in the oven. When they are slightly browned, take them out of the oven and let them cool and harden. And store-bought crackers can be taken with some flavor.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Let the egg pancake cool down and cut it into squares or stripes.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Finely chop the onion and fry until golden in sunflower oil.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

You can use any ham to taste, chicken or beef. Cut it into strips.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

We wash the green onion feather well and cut it into small pieces, it will be more beautiful if the feather is cut diagonally.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Grate hard cheese (any) on a fine grater.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Put beans, egg pancake, ham, fried onion in a deep bowl. If required, add salt, season with mayonnaise. You can, of course, use some sauce for dressing, or a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream, it will taste more gently. We leave the cheese, crackers and green feather.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Add crackers, cheese and greens to the salad immediately before serving, otherwise they may get soaked from the mayonnaise and turn into not beautiful and not tasty pieces of moist bread, and cheese and greens will "get wet". Sprinkle the salad with wheat crackers, grated cheese and green onion feather on top and serve immediately to the table. Bon appetit!
