Salad with beans and ham

The salad is delicious, colorful and original! Diversify your diet! Salad with beans and ham, the culinary recipe of which I will now reveal to you, is notable for a large amount of vitamins and a high iron content (beans, especially red ones, have a lot of iron, it is extremely useful during pregnancy and lactation). This is a dish of German cuisine, which surprised me a little personally (I always associate Germany with beer and sausages). Instead of boiled beans, this food may consist of canned beans. In some cases, it is even preferable (canned is saltier, which pregnant women appreciate more).

Boil the beans in salted water (before that it is better to soak them in water for two hours). Drain the water, cool it. Mix with sweet corn. Then cut the ham into thin strips, put it in the salad. Cucumbers are peeled and also cut, but in cubes. Last of all, add the finely chopped onion. Now mix everything well, if necessary, salt and season with mayonnaise.
Served in a salad bowl decorated with fresh herbs.
